Review on Samsung F90 White Camcorder with 2.7″ LCD Screen and HD Video Recording

I am very pleased with my new Samsung F90 White Camcorder with 2.7″ LCD Screen and HD Video Recording

I did not want a camcorder capable of producing the next STAR WARS movie. I just wanted an ordinary easy-to-use camcorder strictly for home

After a great deal of investigation, I chose this one – and I’m glad I did. It’s inexpensive, very easy to use, and does exactly what I want from a camcorder.

I have filmed scenes from our latest vacation including scenes of the convention we attended as well as some museums we visited and I have taken videos of our granddaughter (who never seems to sit still!). In each of the above scenarios, we see people of different cultures communicating with one another and how their different cultural orientations result in problems or misunderstandings in the communication. With more and more companies going global in today’s changing business environment, it is not at all uncommon to walk into an office and to find ourselves looking at a multinational multicultural workforce. In fact, this is becoming more and more the norm these days. Coupled with the easy availability of sophisticated means of long-distance communication like the email and videoconferencing facilities, today’s business environment, even if confined to your home country, will more likely place you in communication situations involving colleagues or clients whose cultures are different from yours. So, in order to succeed at the workplace today, it is important for you to develop effective intercultural communication skills.

Nintendo Of America Representative Says Any Video Game Character Is Eligible For Super Smash Bros

My Nintendo News

There was some slight confusion earlier when Nintendo of America implied on Facebook that your character submission for Super Smash Bros had to be based on a Nintendo character. One of the readers has reached out to Nintendo of America and a representative has confirmed that any video game character is eligible for the Super Smash Bros DLC. You can vote for Banjo, Rayman, Bayonetta, and any other character of your choice. Here’s the email response.

Thanks for writing to us. I can certainly understand your interest in if third-party characters are eligible for the Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot. I want to assure you that you are able to submit any video-game character for this ballot. While we are unable to guarantee your suggested character will become a Super Smash Bros. Fighter, rest assured, we do take all feedback into consideration.

Thanks, Daniel R

The Business of Freelancing, Blogging, and Books, According to Author Jennifer Armstrong

The Blog

First, I should note: I am not related to Jennifer Armstrong. But! I have followed her writing closely over the years — first during her years at Entertainment Weekly, and more recently as the author of books like Mary and Lou and Rhoda and Ted (Simon & Schuster), which offered a definitive history of the classic TV series. Her blog also happens to be a must-follow on She gives glimpses into her current work (she’s doing a Seinfeld book next) and she’s refreshingly transparent about the business (and hard truths) of being a freelance writer in 2015. I spoke with her via email about the business of writing and tips for how she makes time for her own blog.

Emotional Intelligence

Emotional intelligence
key to stress management

  • Emotional intelligence (EI) commonly known as EQ has become a wide spread interest to psychological research It was Salovey and Mayer, who first introduced the term emotional intelligence.
  • But it was popularized by Goleman with the publication of his influential book Emotional Intelligence in 1995 which appeared in the cover page of TIME magazine.
  • Earlier it was believed that people with high IQ could alone become successful in personal, academic, family and professional life.

Many people with high IQ may be productive and ambitious but found to be cold and detached. People with EQ, even with average IQ have found to be more successful because they are social, empathetic and cheerful’. IQ is mostly determined by genetics and so it can not be changed drastically. But EQ is mostly learned and people can be trained. Continue reading Emotional Intelligence

Time Management

Time Management

Many of us let the time manage us rather than managing it. Time perhaps is the most important resource ever known to the human beings. Often we wonder how nice would it be if we could recall the past time. Interestingly, this is the only resource, which is available in equal measure for everyone. However, we find many a person finishing most days behind the clock. Everyone is busy in some work or other and it looks as if no one has enough time for one’s work. As per Bill May, President of American Can Company “Time is the most valuable thing we deal with. It cannot be bought, it cannot be recaptured. It must be utilized with the highest degree of effectiveness possible”. In this context let us have a look at what the management guru said quite some time back….. Continue reading Time Management

Literature review on Forest fire as a forest management tool

Literature review on fire as a tool for forest management.

Over the past years “the view has developed that forest fires, as they occur today, are natural events which are good for forests, animals and everyone in general” according to (Caldararo , 2001). Fire is also an important disturbance agent in many forests worldwide, shaping ecosystem patterns and processes ( Shafiei et al, 2010).

According to Sweeney, 1956 and Komarek, 1964, 1974 claims that based on biological evidences forest will grow back after fires and for some species of trees and grasses they depend on fire to regenerate themselves as cited in (Caladararo , 2001).

According to Nurse et al (1994) the people of Kilum area of Cameroon use fire as a management tool at end of dry season to encourage new grass growth and to control parasites as cited in Jackson et al.
